John Tuan Nguyen

Founding Partner / CEO

John moved to Vietnam from Canada since 2006, he was the former Deputy CEO of Hoan Cau Group, one of Vietnam’s first conglomerates that pioneered a multitude of M&A activities since the 1980s with Coca Cola’s entry into the market, and Daewoo Hoan Cau Real Estate Joint Ventures in the 2000s. He oversaw multiple divisions during his tenure, including Investment, Hospitality, Entertainment and Finance. At Concord Investment, he leads Corporate Strategic Development, also serving as the conduit for private equity funds from North America, Asia and European countries. His diverse networks in both the public and private sectors across multiple industries around the globe and within Vietnam are second to none.

Katherine Ngoc Tran

Founding Partner / Head of Investments

Katherine is from the US, she has a well-established finance background with extensive experience in Energy, Logistics, Industrial, Real Estate and Capital Markets in the USA and Vietnam. She was part of Capstone Asset Management, a boutique investment firm in Texas, for Equity Indexation with ESG focus. In Vietnam, Katherine joined VOF, a 1 billion LSE-listed fund of VinaCapital, the second largest Fund Manager in Vietnam. Her business acumen is apparent in the knowledge-base she possesses, and natural flair for strategically connecting funds to local developers with an international but Vietnamese approach.

Huy Duy Dao

Senior Investment Manager

Huy obtained his Bachelor Degree in Finance & Banking at Bern University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland. At a young age he posseses experience in mutiple roles from Taxation, M&A advisory, Corporate Investment, to Portfolio Management for multinationals including: KPMG Vietnam, Asian M&A Links, and DHA Corp. – an Affiliate of TTC Group. He specializes in real estate, energy, utilities, and private equity deals.

Tram Huynh

Senior Investment Associate

Tram received a Bachelor of Finance and Banking from Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City and passed CFA level 1. She has more than 6 years of professional experience in M&A, Investments, Business Development, and Market Research for Real Estate and Banking sectors of both multinational and domestic firms. Tram worked at Becamex IDC with Gamuda Land & Capitaland for acquisitions of projects in Binh Duong province. Before that, Tram was at BW Industrial Development.
